Tim Collins

Tim Collins came to prominance due to his stirring eve of battle speech in the second Iraq War. He was born in Belfast and educated in The Royal Belfast Academical Institution and Queen's University Belfast. He was commissioned into the Army in 1981 and joined the 2nd Battalion, Royal Irish Rangers before joining 22 SAS and then the Royal Irish Regiment.
